This cool plant got its name because of the resemblance to the Brazilian flag. It is a low maintenance vining plant which is a wonderful addition to any household!
It will thrive under indirect medium to bright light. It can tolerate low light, however the variegations of color will begin to diminish. Allow the top 3 inches of soil to dry out in between watering. Never allow the plant to sit in soggy soil as this can lead to root rot.
IF MOUNTED soak moss for 10 minutes once every week or when leaves begin to curl. Allow to drip dry before returning to plaque.
The Brasil will do best in well draining, loamy soil suited for aroid plants. Add a well balanced liquid fertilizer once per month during the spring and summer months to encourage growth. Stop feeding and reduce watering in winter months when the plant is dormant.
This plant is toxic, keep out of reach of pets and small children.
