The Crimson Queen is a beautiful addition to your houseplant collection. It can produce star shaped flowers in ideal conditions. Do not remove the flower stems, as new flowers can bloom there again in the future.
Place in medium to bright light, it can tolerate low light however this does not encourage optimal growth. Water when the soil has dried out on the top 1-2 inches, does best in well draining soil. Generally does fine in typical household humidity, but would enjoy misting for added humidity. Can use a well balanced liquid fertilizer at half the directed strength once per month throughout the spring and summer, reducing feeding and watering in the winter months when the plant enters its dormancy period.
Hoya’s are non toxic to pets and humans!
