Monstera Deliciosa Care Guide

This beautiful plant is well known for the holes that develop in its leaves, which are referred to as fenestrations. It does best in bright indirect sunlight. Water sparsely, can be once every 1-2 weeks depending on exposure to light. Higher light exposure will require more frequent watering. Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry out in between watering.

Place in medium to bright indirect sunlight. Reduce water frequency in the winter months when the plant goes dormant. A well draining potting soil is best, you can add perlite or coco coir for added aeration if needed. The Monstera will thrive in humid conditions, misting is recommended or adding a room humidifier to your space would be ideal. However if neither is possible, the plant will acclimate to typical humidity levels if necessary.

This plant can be toxic, keep out of reach of pets and small children.
